It was
another great race. I would like to thank Mike and Joy Anderson
for having us at the duck. We are looking forward to possible
another race there. Thank you to all who came to the race. We
had 19 cars in the house with 16 qualifying for the show. We
would like to welcome Roger McConnell and Marlon Jones to the
best organization on the East Coast . How about Bob Watson and
his Viper ? He was the last member to bring his car out. With
that we have 46 members who have participated in at
least one event. Rodney Jones came up from VMP and he liked what
he saw. They maybe booking us in for a race or two .
We get a
couple of weeks off before our next three race run which starts
at Roxboro, then Coastal Plains and finishes at Northeast before
the next break. This race at Summerduck has really shakin'
up the points.
Enough Talk
let's get to the racing. The weather was real hot as all of you
know who were there
knew, but we still had some good racing. How about Mark Spalding
winning his first career heads up race taking down some heavy
hitters such as Bill Meadow, John Moton, Kevin Fortney and Steve
Bray in the finals.
